2022 Scholarship Award Recipients
The Margate Log Cabin's Scholarship Fund continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of local youth. Back in 2021, the EBoard and member volunteers rallied together, raising an impressive $24,990 through the auction of five exclusive Log Cabin memberships. This generous support laid the foundation for a scholarship fund dedicated to assisting the children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews of Log Cabin members.
Thanks to ongoing fundraising efforts and additional donations, the fund has grown significantly, enabling the Log Cabin to award $1,000 scholarships to deserving students pursuing higher education.
At the recent monthly members' meeting, five outstanding students were honored as the 2024 scholarship recipients. The presentation was a highlight of the meeting, with each student recognized for their achievements and potential. Following the ceremony, checks were sent directly to their respective colleges to support their educational endeavors.
